| 表彰内容 | 2024年3月28日に宇都宮大学農学部で開催された日本雑草学会において、Muhammad Zakaria Hossainさん（バングラデッシュ農業研究所、前東京農工大学大学院連合農学研究科茨城大学配置）（当時指導教員： 小松﨑将一教授）を筆頭著者とする「Optimization of the year-round mowing schedule of a robotic lawnmower in a Japanese pear orchard」の論文が国際誌Weed Biology and Managementの論文賞を受賞しました。 Muhammad Zakaria Hossainさんは、担い手が減少する果樹栽培において、小型の草刈ロボットを導入することで、省力的な果樹管理について大学農場での実証実験により有効性と経済的な可能性を見出しました。これらの成果は、最近注目されているスマート農業の実現に貢献するものです。 日本雑草学会国際誌論文賞の授与件数は例年1件です。 |
